Julie est une ancienne collègue infirmère. je me souviens encore de cette garde en réanimation, il y a 5 ou 6 ans où elle projetait déjà son mariage avec Anthony « le jour où il aurait fait sa demande »… Telle une grande fan de mon travail (je la remercie d’ailleurs de croire en mes projets !), Julie me faisait savoir à quel point elle souhaitait que je les photographie, elle, Anthony et leurs proches… Les yeux déjà pétillants, Julie semblait déjà à fond dedans, puis se reprenait en se disant « t’emballes pas cocotte, c’est pas demain la veille »… Bref elle était à la fois attendrissante et marrante, mais elle était surtout amoureuse (elle l’est toujours et plus que jamais à priori).
Les années se sont passées et puis l’an dernier, Anthony a fait une jolie surprise à Julie en la demandant en mariage. Je pense que dans la minute qui suivait, j’avais un message. Non je plaisante! J’ai été averti rapidement afin de bloquer une date. Julie voulait donc quelque chose de simple, intimiste, qui leur ressemble, » pas de chichi » dit elle. Je leur ai donc proposé de faire la séance couple dans la forêt proche de chez eux, en Lorraine.
Le jour venu, après quelques préparatifs avant cette grande journée, suivis d’une rencontre dans leur jardin aux pieds de la forêt (sous les yeux de leur famille guettant en toute discrétion…lol!), nous avons profité d’une éclaircie entre deux averses pour nous diriger dans les bois derrières chez eux. J’ai trouvé ça simple et naturel et à la fois et je ne me suis pas trompé en pensant que ça leur plairait je crois.

Julie is a former colleague. I still remember that day when we worked together in ICU, 5 or 6 years ago… She was dancing « the day when he will ask her to marry him »… As a big fan of my work (I thank her to believe in my projects !), Julie told me how it was important for her to entrust me their wedding story… Her eyes were already sparkling, she was already living her future wedding day… Then she stopped and she said herself « Don’t get so excited Julie, it’s not tomorrow!!! »… Brief, she was both touching and funny, but she was especially in love (obviously she’s always in love, more than ever).
Many years had past and then last year, Anthony asked her to marry him. Nice surprise! I thing that Julie sent me an SMS in the next minute. No it’s a joke! But she called me quickly to be sure that I reserved the date. Julie wanted something simple, intimate, something that resembled them, « no big fuss » she said. I proposed them to do the wedding session in the wood, near to their house, in East of France, in Lorraine.
The D-Day, after the getting ready, the first meet in their garden, we did the session when the sun came, between two rain showers, and we went into the forest, near to their village. I found it natural and simple, and they were very happy of the result, I believe.
